About Us

We Help You Move Better, Feel Stronger, and Stay Active

Moveify Health Solutions is an exercise physiology clinic built for people who take their long-term capability seriously. Whether you're staying strong for the next 30 years, working back from an injury or surgery, returning to your sport, or simply tired of feeling like your body's slipping away, we meet you where you are.

We don't run bootcamps or generic programs. Every session is one-on-one or small group, led by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who understands your body's history: the injuries, the chronic conditions, and the goals. Our purpose is simple: help you stay strong, capable, and independent for as long as possible.

Consistency over intensity. Progress over perfection. We design programs that start exactly where you are, whether you're building strength to stay independent into your 70s and 80s, recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or training to get back to your sport.

We focus on the movements that matter: getting up off the floor, picking up your grandkids, lifting groceries without pain, running without flaring an old injury, getting back on the court. Real strength for real life. We progress at a pace that respects your body, because sustainable results beat quick fixes every time.

Our experience spans the full spectrum: healthy adults focused on longevity, older adults managing musculoskeletal pain and chronic disease, and athletes working back from injury. We've worked with knee and hip osteoarthritis, shoulder pain, low back pain, bursitis, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiac rehab, balance and falls prevention, and post-surgical recovery.

We stay current with the research in exercise science because our patients deserve evidence-based care. We also coordinate with your GP, physiotherapist, or specialist to make sure your program fits the rest of your healthcare.

Initial Assessment

Start With a Conversation, Not a Workout

Your first visit is a low-cost initial assessment where we listen to your story, understand your goals, and build a plan that fits your life.

Initial assessment consultation

This is not a gym induction. It's a 60-minute conversation and clinical assessment designed to answer one question: are we the right fit for each other? We'll cover:

  • Your health history, past injuries, and current limitations
  • What's actually bringing you in, pain, deconditioning, a sport goal, a diagnosis, or a long-term plan to stay strong
  • What matters most to you: getting back to your sport, playing with your grandkids, working without pain, or staying strong and independent for the long term
  • A baseline assessment of your strength, mobility, and balance
  • A personalised and tailored plan with clear next steps

This initial consultation is an opportunity for both of us. You'll learn whether our approach suits your needs, and we'll learn whether we can genuinely help you. If it's a good fit, great. If not, we'll point you in the right direction either way.

Wherever You're Starting From, We Meet You There

Whether you're staying strong for the decades ahead, working back from an injury, or chasing a personal best, the research is clear that the right exercise program can change your trajectory. Let's start a conversation about what's possible for you.

FAQ

Questions We Hear All The Time

If you're wondering whether this is right for you, you're not alone. Here's what others ask.

Do I need to be unwell or injured to come here?
No. A significant portion of our patients are healthy adults who want to stay that way, building and keeping the strength, muscle mass, and balance that make the difference in your 60s, 70s, and beyond. You don't need a condition. You just need a goal.
I'm in my 60s or 70s and I've never lifted a weight. Is it too late?
Not even close. The research is unambiguous: adults in their 70s and 80s build muscle and strength in response to resistance training. The biological response is real at any age. The earlier you start, the more you keep, but starting late still produces meaningful change.
I have osteoporosis or arthritis, won't exercise make it worse?
That's the most common fear we hear, and the most important to address. The right exercise actually strengthens bones, supports joints, and reduces pain over time. The wrong exercise (generic, unsupervised, poorly progressed) can flare things up. We'll make sure every exercise is appropriate for your specific condition and supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who works with these conditions regularly.
"I hate exercise", how is this different from a gym?
Most of our patients said the same thing. We're a clinical practice, not a gym in the traditional sense. No loud music, no crowded classes, no judgement. It's just you and an expert who designs a program around your body and your goals. Most people find that when exercise doesn't hurt and actually makes them feel better, it stops feeling like a chore.
I'm rehabbing an injury, should I see a physio or an EP first?
Generally, physio first for acute pain, then EP for the strength and loading work that prevents recurrence. We work closely with physiotherapists and many of our patients come to us straight after physio discharge for exactly this reason. If you're not sure, book an assessment and we'll be honest about whether you need physio first.
I'm busy. How much time do I need to commit?
We know life is full. Sessions are scheduled at a frequency that works for you, whether that's weekly, fortnightly, or as a check-in every few weeks. Depending on your goals, we'll also include home- or gym-based programming you do between sessions. Consistency matters more than volume, and we'll find a rhythm that fits your schedule.
Do I need a referral? Can I claim rebates?
You don't need a referral to book. However, if you have a chronic condition, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan with a referral from your GP. Most private health insurers also offer rebates for exercise physiology under extras cover. We can help you check your eligibility.
What happens in the first session?
Your first session is a 60-minute initial assessment. We'll go through your health history, discuss what's bringing you in, identify your goals, and run baseline movement and strength tests. Then we'll put together a plan and talk through next steps. No workout required. Just a conversation and some simple assessments.
